- Since there were just a handful of people who ended up fully participating in the Odds 'n' Ends round, there won't be an awards session. I will, however, still be making some kind of special graphic for all of the participants to display. Thanks for your hard work, guys!
- When I set the Love in Full Bloom Exchange deadline for midnight the night of May 18 (which is this upcoming Sunday!), I forgot to mention that I will be keeping time according to standard U.S. East Coast Daylight Savings Time. All of the proper time zone conversions can also be Googled. ;-) (Thanks to
charma_10 for bringing this to my attention!) - With the submission deadline for the current exchange fast approaching, it's important to remember your basic checklist:
- Have you and your beta made sure that you've got all of your t's crossed and your i's dotted, so to speak? (This means grammar, spelling, HTML coding, etc.) Is your story in either Microsoft Word or Notepad/TextEdit format?
The list of volunteer beta readers is here, along with a few other resources where you can find one, and one other person is available via email upon request.
- Do you have the proper header and footer forms filled out and attached correctly to your fic?
- Does your beta know to contact with his/her confirmation either at this post or via email? - Remember that you're most certainly allowed to submit your finished fic early as well! Two of the sixteen participants have already done so.
Thank you to everyone for their help and cooperation! :-)

Ok, so this story is not COMPLETELY R/Hr (it's a "five things" fic), but it does have R/Hr in it, so I figured it was safe to post. =)
Title: it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
Author: that_september
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Ron/Hermione, George/Angelina, Snape/Lily, Neville/Luna, Harry/Ginny
Word Count: 5, 287
Summary: Five kisses after the war.
Disclaimer: J.K. Rowling owns it all. I merely embellish.
Author's Note: So, I've been working on this one since...maybe Februrary? I can't remember, exactly, but it's been a LONG time. I just kept writing away at it whenever I got inspired, and on the whole, I'm pretty pleased with it. I hope you guys like it too. Title from Leonard Cohen's song Hallelujah.
(It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth...)
Unfortunately due to some unforeseen complications with my pregnancy, I am being admitted to hospital on May 12th 2008. I'm not sure how long I will be gone for. I imagine I should be home again by mid-June, but I make no promises. It is only precautionary, and the baby and myself are both healthy. I'll just be stuck there for a while.
Because I am the main administrator for the site ,and this has happened unexpectedly, the site will be a little less organised than usual. Test marking and mentoring, preliminary emails and automated systems should run as normal.
The main delay I can see is that there WILL NOT be a new test published in June. I shall endeavour to get one done as soon as possible, but since I cannot guarantee it I would rather warn people that there may be a wait.
I hope you're all well, and I shall see you when I get back home.
All the best,
Asli
